With the global cost of data breaches setting new records every year, OSINT tools and techniques have become essential in effectively combating this worldwide concern. This talk will cover the main patterns and causes of data breaches and how they negatively impact businesses and national security, while proposing frameworks that can minimize, and even prevent, these costly incidents.

- Countering Illegal Trade on Darknet Marketplaces
Track 3, Thursday, September 8, 9.15-10.00
In collaboration with darknet data providers DarkOwl, we’ll be outlining the black market landscape as it exists on the Dark Web and putting forward a range of methods to counteract illegal trade. Through advanced data extraction and analysis, we’ll show how investigators can break through the perceived anonymity of the Dark Web and crypto transactions to identify criminal actors.
