With Q3 of 2024 fully wrapped up, we want to let everyone know we’ve been up to, and it’s been another highly productive quarter for the Crimewall team! In this update, we’re excited to highlight the latest features and enhancements introduced to our flagship product.
Let’s dive into the details!
New Features
This really is a bumper quarter, with a whole range of entirely new features, which expand and add more flexibility to the overall functionality, allowing users to do things that just weren’t possible before. Here’s a rundown.
Collaborative Mode
Collaborative Mode is a powerful multi-user feature designed to enhance and facilitate teamwork within Crimewall. This feature allows multiple analysts to seamlessly work together in a shared space, facilitating real-time collaboration on investigations.
Similar to Miro, Figma, and other collaboration apps, team members can now see each other’s live contributions to a given Crimewall project, whether it’s launching methods, expanding digital footprints, or just moving their mouse around. With Collaborative Mode, the entire team or unit can join forces and combine their efforts on the complex and demanding projects, significantly boosting efficiency and productivity.
New Templates
We’re continually adding to our inbuilt templates, giving our users an ever-wider palette to work from. And our latest offering is the all-new, super useful Social Listening Template. This template is geared towards streamlining social listening on X (formerly Twitter). Simply input a hashtag, keyword, or phrase, to retrieve all relevant posts and conduct quick, automated sentiment analysis on them. The template also supports post extraction based on specific sentiments, allowing users to gain a targeted view of public opinion.
The Social Listening Template dramatically accelerates the social analysis process, making it particularly valuable for investigations around brand protection. For instance, by entering a company name, you can quickly zero in on the related posts with an exclusively negative sentiment. This is a great way to size up public opinion, identify malicious campaigns and other potential issues, and develop effective strategies for continually protecting your brand and reputation.
Drag-and-Drop Image Import
We understand that every second gained in an unfolding case is valuable. So we’ve provided a new option for image import that takes a couple of steps out of the process—our new Image Drag-and-Drop feature. This allows you to effortlessly upload images to a project, by simply selecting the image or images you want to import, then dragging them from your desktop onto the Crimewall graph. Designed specifically for user convenience, this feature allows you to get your data in a workable place with next to no effort—great for all cases, where time is of the essence!
Group/Sort Objects in the Navigation Tab
Organizing objects in Crimewall just got a lot more efficient thanks to our new Group/Sort Objects feature. This allows users to sort objects by element or number of connections, making it much easier to manage complex datasets—it’s particularly valuable for filtering and managing objects displayed on the graph.
For instance, you can quickly select all email addresses within your investigation to perform targeted searches on associated LinkedIn accounts. Alternatively, you can highlight objects with a minimal amount of connections, to declutter and optimize your valuable workspace real estate.
Bookmarks
When working with a complex informational picture, it’s often essential to have simple visual signifiers allowing you to recognize what’s what at a glance. So, we’ve introduced Bookmarks—a feature allowing users to easily select and categorize objects within Crimewall using customizable colors.
This functionality is accessible across all view modes—graph, table, and map—enabling a versatile approach to data management. With Bookmarks, you can highlight and group objects according to your own logic—for example, you might want to focus on those related to a specific person, place, or topic. This intuitive organization method allows you to manage your data efficiently and in a way that makes intuitive sense specifically to you.
PDF Reports
SL Crimewall now allows users to automatically generate not only HTML but PDF reports as well. Crimewall reports are extremely user-friendly, capturing all data from your investigations, including objects, connections, clickable links, images, and other relevant details. These reports consolidate your investigation into a single, structured file, making it easy to share findings or archive data outside of the solution itself.
UX/UI Updates
We’ve also brought new additions to the overall user experience and interface, focusing on both the Graph and Table views in SL Crimewall.

Stability and Performance
- The platform has now been optimized for multitasking, enabling users to work more effectively without sacrificing performance.
- Users will notice faster response when working with groups, allowing for quicker organization and management of data.
- Automatic merging has also been enhanced, making it quicker and easier to consolidate data seamlessly.
- We’ve made some important fixes—crashes are no longer an issue when merging a large number of entities, meaning you’ll experience smoother operation even during large-scale data processing.
- Lastly, we’ve resolved issues with system responses being lost, enhancing the reliability of interactions within the platform.
